The Hershey Company: Logo Rebranding

A logo I created using Adobe Illustrator and animated with Adobe After Effects for The Hershey Company. Upon researching The Hershey Company, it became clear that its current logo faced controversy. Therefore, I decided to create a new logo for the company, not only to resolve the derogatory issue but also to portray the extensive product offerings and respond to the changes in consumer behavior and perception. The final logo evolved from over 40 initial logo designs during my design process.

RamsZone

A mobile application prototype I designed using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Xd to offer an online platform for Fordham students to engage and share their lives, academic or personal, with fellow students. The purpose of this application is to increase the sense of community among Fordham students.

Online learning during COVID-19 may make many students feel that they are disconnected from the Fordham community. Fordham students are in need of a place to engage and communicate with their peers to foster their sense of community during COVID-19 and continue after.

With the mobile application, Fordham students may chat with their peers if they become friends. Students may also work on the same challenge every day, which could provide some sense of belonging. Also, students may share their experiences or contribute to interesting topics through the threads function, which helps them to network with each other while sharing some aspects of their lives. Additionally, students may be able to attend the same events with their friends through the events page.

Dance Till The Night

These are two magazine pages I created using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign. The picture on the left is created using Adobe Photoshop. The picture is then transferred into Adobe InDesign to create the pages. The message in these magazine pages is to encourage people to chase their dreams.

Desserts Festivals

A desserts festival map I created using Adobe Illustrator. The shape of the map is a cloud, as I wanted to create a puffy feeling and go with desserts. I did not include a lot of words on the map except the title as I think the visuals are clear alone. The color scheme I chose is macaroon colors as I want the map to feel “sweet” since this is a map on desserts.

The New York Times Travel Show

A poster project I created using Adobe Illustrator for The New York Times Travel Show. In the event, there was a performance using umbrellas, which was where my inspiration came from for the first poster that used many hexagons. The three colors Red, Blue, Yellow I used in both posters are three of the most common colors used in flags, and they are also the three primary colors, which symbolize diversity by combining the colors.
